CMD OF INSTRUMENTATION LIMITED RECEIVES THE PRESTIGIOUS “ UDYOG RATTAN “ AWARD

Sh. Ramanand Chairman-cum Managing Director of Instrumentation Limited has been awarded the Prestigious ‘Udyog Rattan Award’ by the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, one of the country’s Premier Research Institute. This honour was conferred on Sh. Ramanand in recognition of his outstanding contributions towards Industrial development of the country.

In the same function Instrumentation Limited  was also conferred  the ‘Excellence award ‘for its enhanced overall performance.

Under the able and dynamic leadership of Sh. Ramanand Instrumentation Limited has made rapid progress in business acquisition and execution by diversifying in many new areas like Power transmission and Distribution, Offshore Instrumentation, Security and Surveillance to name a few.

The awards were presented by Mr. Korn Dabbaransi, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand at an award ceremony held on 8th October 2009. at India Habitat Center, New Delhi. The ceremony was graced by the Sh . Bhism Narain Singh, former Governor and Cabinet Minister and  Sh.  G.V.G Krishna Murthy ,former Chief Election Commissioner and other dignitaries.

Accepting the Udyog Rattan award and Excellence award  Sh. Ramanand said that both the awards rightfully belong to management, Staff and well wishers of Instrumentation Limited who  have contributed towards making the company a success story.

The Udyog Rattan Award and Award for Excellence is conferred by the Institute of Economic Studies every year. IES (http://iesindia.org) was established in 1980 by a group of economists, parliamentarians and industrialists who came together to study and discuss problems concerning various aspects of the economy and economic development of India and offer their expert advice and services.

The previous recipients of this prestigious award include Sh. Vijay Mallaya, Sh. R Krishna Bajaj,  Sh. H S Singhania, Dr B K Modi, Sh.B R Chopra, Sh H P Nanda., Sh. K.G. Ramachandran(CMD-BHEL),Sh. A.A. Khan(MD-PFCL), Sh. S.K.Gupta(CMD-VSNL), Sh. M. Sengupta(CMD Bank of Maharashtra), Sh. Arvind pandini(CMD-STC)  to name a few.
